This rubric is a resource to aid educators in reviewing assignment prompts for potential vulnerabilities to generative AI tools and/or creating prompts without those vulnerabilities. The rubric focuses on some areas that current models of generative AI tools are not generally capable of producing as a student writer might. The rubric will give educators some specific areas to focus on when creating or reviewing assignments so that they are less vulnerable to misuse of generative AI tools, as well as ethical use of those same tools.
